Maneurop reciprocating compressors from Danfoss Commercial Compressors are specially designed for applications with a wide range of operating conditions. All components are of high quality and precision in order to assure a long product life. Maneurop MTZ series compressors are of the hermetic reciprocating type and are designed for medium and high evaporating temperature applications.
MTZ compressors can be used in new installations and also to replace Maneurop MT/MTE compressors in existing installations. The old MT series compressors were charged with mineral oil and could only be used with R22, while the new replacement MTZ series compressors are charged with polyolester oil and can be used with multiple refrigerants - R134a, R404A, R407A, R407C, R407F, R448A, R449A, R452A, R507A, R513A.
MTZ compressors have a large internal free volume that protects against the risk of liquid hammering when liquid refrigerant enters the compressor. The positive benefits of internal motor protection, high efficiency circular valve design and high torque motors provide for a quality installation.
MTZ compressors are fully suction gas cooled. This means that no additional compressor cooling is required and allows the compressors to be insulated with acoustic jackets, to obtain lower sound levels, without the risk of compressor overheating. All compressors are available in VE version (oil equalisation + oil sight glass).
Note: Rotalock service valves & crankcase heaters are not supplied with compressor & should be purchased separately if required.
