The growth of Airefrig Supplies continued in to the 1980's and early 1990's with the opening of two more branches in Western Australia located in O'Connor (1980) and Wangara (1995).
With the companies established success in Western Australia, Bill and Waverley Treby decided to expand the business nationally and in 1998 opened Airefrig Supplies in Mulgrave, Victoria. Within a year, the Rocklea (now Willawong) branch in Queensland was opened.
As the company expanded across the country, the name of Airefrig Supplies was changed to Airefrig Australia Pty Ltd in 1999.
The success in Melbourne continued with the opening of Thomastown Victoria in 2001 and in the years that followed branches were opened in NSW (Newington 2002, Padstow 2009 & Alexandria 2012) and South Australia (Regency Park 2003).
In 2004 the first designed and assembled Enthalpy condensing unit by Airefrig Australia was sold in the Australian market. As the range and demand for the product increased, Airefrig designed and purpose built an assembly factory at the Bayswater premises to increase supply of Enthalpy units. This building was opened at the start of 2012.
The rapid national expansion of Airefrig Australia was due to the overwhelming acceptance of this Australian family owned company throughout the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. The key values of the company since 1970 have always been customer service, technical back up and large stock holdings at a competitive price.
In line with the key values of the company, Airefrig undertook branch relocations and expansions in some of their key locations. Mulgrave in Victoria and Wangara in Western Australia were relocated into larger premises in 2016. In 2018, the South Australian operations were relocated to Wingfield, becoming the largest refrigeration and air conditioning showroom and warehouse in the state.
Most recently, Airefrig opened its 12th branch in Truganina, Victoria in January 2023. The 3500m2 showroom and warehouse design from Wingfield was successfully replicated, as Truganina became the 3rd Airefrig branch in Victoria.
